KID to Grace FEU Art Theatre Clinique's 'SPOOF'




The Far Eastern University Art Theatre Clinique (ATC), in its 2nd Theater Season and together with the Department of Communication and Office of Student Affairs and Community Services, presents “Spoof,” a stand-up comedy variety show featuring talented student-artists of FEU's Mass Communication Department, with special guest artists ABS-CBN’s Neil Tolentino, FEU faculty Boy Villahermosa, Bong Espinosa, Beth Naui and Kid Camaya of GMA 7's “Pinoy Idol.”

Performances are on November 27, 28 and 29, 2008, 7 p.m. at the Far Eastern University Plaza (open-air space).





“Spoof” tells the story of Mass Communication student Piyong as he meets his alter ego Piyo before leaving the campus. Piyo encourages Piyong to see the realms of politics and showbusiness and how they are inextricably tied to Philippine pop culture. Political leaders, leading commercial endorsers, showbiz personalities and television network tycoons are some of the characters to be played by the ATC ensemble.


Theater director-mentor Joey Ting conceptualized the first installment of this annual hunting ground of fresh talents for theater and the entertainment industry.

Yup akala ko rin non magta-try syang mag-theater hehehe... pero sabi nya he is gracing the show dahil in-invite sya to sing... Technically part sya ng play pero as a guest singer so he is still singing not acting hahaha.... Very Happy
